Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood once again lead country music charts

Carrie Underwood stayed atop the Billboard country song chart for the week ending April 28 with "Wasted." On the album chart, Tim McGraw was first for the third straight week with "Let It Go" and remained the second best selling disc in the U.S. for the second straight week.

Underwood begins vocal sessions for next CD!

The former American Idol star is hard at work, beginning her first vocal sessions for her next album on Tuesday morning (April 17) in Nashville, one day after winning three CMT Music Awards for her video, "Before He Cheats." She told reporters backstage at the show that her second album will definitely be released this year, although no release date has been set.
